Why was the study done?

The study was done to understand how patients felt about an online therapy program for alcohol misuse. We wanted to know what they liked, what could be better, and what advice they had for others.

What was done in the study?

In the study, we asked patients about their experiences with the online therapy program. We asked them what skills they found helpful, what they liked or didn’t like about the program, and what advice they would give to others starting the program.

What did we find out?

We found out that most patients were satisfied with the program and felt it was worth their time. They found coping with cravings and managing risky situations to be the most helpful skills. Patients also gave advice like committing to the program and doing the work to be successful.

Where do we go from here?

Based on these findings, we can make improvements to the program. We can focus on the most helpful skills, address areas that patient found challenging, and incorporate patient advice to make the program more effective and engaging.
